My latest Super Famicom order has some real balls to it! (both Dual Orbs and Dragon Quest III as well as a loose Goof Troop).
But I already have a CIB Majesco US version of Goof Troop, why buy another? So I hear the Japanese version, developed a year later than the US and PAL versions, has multiple difficulty settings, including altered puzzles.
DQIII was a little more expensive than I thought it would be ($16) considering I'd expect it to be a pretty common game (the GBC version also seems pretty expensive). Demand fueled by cult status? (didn't even the remakes sell into the millions?)

I also ordered an obscure GB shooter called Mercenary Force, cart and (from a separate seller and site) manual.

Should've gotten the GBC version of DQ3. It's the single most comprehensive remake Enix ever put out. Would've cost you twice as much, though.

I actually have that already. The DW3 GBC I bought back when it was new (still have it complete) (I think it was like $15 then, I'd imagine it's worth a lot more now :D ), as well as a loose DQ3 GBC I got in a lot years ago.
Just wanted to play the shinier SFC version. :)
(right now playing DQ1+2 SFC as well. Though I have to use an emulator because I don't want to attempt to hack up my cart's dead battery.)

Dang, that's a hefty price. Especially compared to the PSOne and PSP versions...

Yeah, that does seem to be a very high price to pay for ToP. I got mine many years ago, but then it was like $30 complete.

I looked less than a year ago. Could've sworn it averaged around $30-$40, with the PSOne version averaging less than $20.

I always liked the orange and purple ones. Liked them cause they were obscure colors for a console.

I got an orange Game Boy Player with my black GameCube.
I didn't even know the orange GBP was released in the US (I thought we got black only) but it apparently must have (judging by the FCC sticker on it).

My latest? A few Rare games. Perfect Dark N64 CIB, Perfect Dark GBC new, Conker's Pocket Tales cart+manual.
I'm surprised both PD games are still pretty cheap even for new, though I wasn't quite interested to pay the extra bucks for a new N64 PD over used.
I thought I heard something about it, but does Conker actually have gameplay differences in monochrome and color modes?

I too had an orange controller untill I discovered the beauty that was the Wavebird. Because I could get the orange controller in NA I just assumed that the orange GC was available in NA as well. I had the silver GC btw.

I have both the silver and the grey one. The silver one I found at Gamestop years ago back during the GC era and the grey one I got from Gamestop shortly after I bought my Wii. Now that Gamestop doesnt carry GC stuff anymore your best bet to find a Wavebird is either online or a thrift store.

Those Wavebirds never lasted for us. They all busted, yet our Wired ones (which we've had longer and used almost as much as the Wavebirds) are in great condition.

I have always had the opposite problem, the Wavebirds last for me but the corded ones always die quickly. Of course the big thing that bugged me with the GC corded controllers was how short the cords were compared to the PS2 and the Xbox cords.

@Old_Skool_Skunk

Wind Waker is the only LOZ i personally can't stand. It was such a boring exprience, from the Drac' n' dreadful sailing, the uninteresting characters, the terrible soundtrack, and hate it or love it graphical presentation ect ect.

I just about finished it, but i called it quits. I just wasn't having any fun with it.... :(
Suprisingly, Phantom HourGlass was quite the awesome experience! much more so than WW. B-)
