Tasuki: Congrats dude, that is one Mega find! Now is it a MC Hammer To Legit To Quit factory seal or a Foot Clan reseal? Man, I would be so tempted to open a brand new NES system! Contact me when you find stuff like that, I will pay you daily double on deals like that. :) Oh, and use tinypic.com to host your own pics. It's easy cheese.

Nice find there as well OGO-GO. I still need a copy of that one. I would consider it retro, after all it's Double Dragon for Bimmy's sake!

the dd gba is going for 21$ with free shipping, sealed. i recently got all 3 castlevania ds games sealed too. i plan on getting the rest of my handheld games asap

Ahh, i guess i'll give Shadow of a Ninja a try then, it's not like $5 is going to kill the Bogus bank anyways.
As for Shinobi III, i know exactly what you're talking about at least from watching a few YouTube videos....Like most genesis
titles the quality is lacking, and a huge chunk of that reason comes from the Genesis's weaker color pallette, muffled
scratchy chip tunes and drowning tingy SFX in comparison to what the SNES pumps out. When you're used to what the SNES dishes out, playing
the Genesis feels quite a bit off.

I beat Shinobi for the Game Gear on the 3DS's VC, and while it was a pretty decent ride to Ninja funky town it left
me feeling a bit....Icky? :p The quality in comparison to GameBoy color games just wasn't there....the visuals/art direction
had this lousy ameture look to them. The backgrounds especially were a complete eye sore and the entire thing felt
like a Mortal Kombat meets power rangers side scroller on Game Gear crack and completely fails in comparison
to Ninja Gaiden I-III. I've always hated the Game Gear..Hell, i was even unfortunate to own one during it's release.
I played it a lot during my trip to Disney Land, and every single game i got for that little piece
of junk was a distaster of an experience. lol

Anyways, Shadow of the Ninja it tis! that shall be my next VC purchase. I want something 8-bit, challenging, short
and sweet before i dive into some more meatier games like Metroid on the NES, Zelda ALTTP, Kirby's Return to Dreamland ect ect. :D

@Tasuki
Awesome Buy Tasookaboy!
I was about to splurge and get the NES Action Set at one point, but i frazzed out and decided
to put it on hold. :P I'd personally just love to have the actual Box....Ahem, and an NES advantage CIB. B-) Anyways, i say open up it up! You only live once, unless you're lucky enough to come back as a teenage mutant ninja Brewster. :o and speaking of Sealed retro purchases, i had a sealed copy of T & C Surf Design which i nabbed for $55 online, now there's 1 Sealed copy on eBay going for $120...Part of me wishes i hadn't opened it, but at the same to relive opening up a fresh new NES game like it was 1989' was pretty special.

@WaveNinja: Shadow of the Ninja sounds like the game you are currently looking for then! It’s a quick and simplistic classic 8-bit NES challenge indeed. I can get to the final boss but I have yet to beat it. I end up not having enough remaining lives/continues and than get the nasty McDonald’s Hamburglar game over screen. :P I am curious to know your thoughts on it though I have an Icarus inkling on what you will think because most of the time we are usually in agreement on including about the whole the Genesis “quality” factor.

Here are a couple of my latest:

Totally Rad or Totally Bad? Doesn’t matter because this one oozes 80’s surfer lingo and steeze like no other mother on this planet!

One of the coolest NES boxes without a doubt.

Nothing silly about this next one. It needs no introduction to any retro gamer because this one will never be terminated.

What Sunsoft managed to produce with the soundtrack to Journey to Silius is just outstanding!

Buddy of mine picked up "Congo's Capers" for the SNES a few days ago and we spent some time playing that. Pretty fun platformer - similar to "Joe & Mac." I've also stumbled onto an NES game called "Legacy of the Wizard" and it is insane. I can't believe how large/confusing the world is.

mario kart 64
banjo tooie
conker bad fur day(like one of the best games i played on th 64 in my opinion)
and diddy kong racing (much better then the DS version in my opinion)

How much did all that come to? Because a lot of those are heavily sought after games, especially Goemon...

in total it came to 57 dollars but it was worth it

It still runs fine its just not up to my standards. It just needs a new screen because the current one is heavily scratched near the top right side of it. Plus it is my 2nd Gameboy Color I have another one this I bought because A. It came with Donkey '94 and B. I plan I reselling one of them one day.

Found Donkey Kong Country for $9.50 at my local thrift store the other day. Compared to the virtual console and Amazon thats not too bad.

Not very recent but one of my best finds was about two years ago. Found a SNES complete with the cables and two controllers and Super Mario Allstars, along with Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past, Super Mario World, and Secret of Mana for $20 at the same place.

The first Mortal Kombat was the game that made Nintendo realize there is a place for games for mature audiences, so MKII was the first to keep the violence with a parental advisory notice on the box (as it was released two months before the ESRB ratings were first used).

wait, wasn't the ORIGINAL MK on SNES "family-friendified"? i got the game in the mail, and everything was in tact, blood, fatalities, everything. also, you added me? OK XD. im not sure what to say to that, so i added you in return. im not sure what you're looking for though, im a pretty boring person XD
