Topic: Your favorite Zelda dungeon

I'm almost done playing through A Link to The Past and I've been thinking about which dungeon is my favorite in that game. This game has some genious dungeon designs. But what about picking one dungeon out of all the Zelda games combined? Can one person make such a difficult decision? I'm asking all of you to weigh in on this question and explain why you chose the dungeon you chose. Let's have some fun with this.

I think the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time is the best dungeon ever!
I actually don't mind it, and don't see what gets everyone so mad about it. Dark Link is kinda frustrating and the spiked ramp room before the boss is just annoying.

Actually, I kinda like the look of the ruined sky town in Twilight Princess. The only part I don't like is the room where you have to turn on the giant fan to get to the boss tower. If I mess up, I have to purposely drop Link in a hole so I can warp back to the door and save maybe 10 minutes backtracking just to try again.

Too hard to pick.
I really like Yeto and Yeta's snow mansion, but the canonballs really ruined it for me.
Love the theme of the Shadow Temple, but don't care for the fans or the Silver Rupee room with the invisible spikes.
Love the Dragonroost Island dungeon to bits, but those friggin centepede monsters were too much annoyance not enough genuine challenge. Especially the one on that little islet in the magma...
Nothing to noteworthy about any of the 2D games for me...

I really can't pick. They all have their ups and downs.

I really like that dungeon in Majora's Mask that had all those qualifications to get in, such as a certain amount of hearts.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

The Gibdo dungeon? The one where you had to give the mummies random things? ...cause if that's what you're talking about... Whaaaaaat? That was so annoying!

if not... what on earth are you talking about?

You know, I wouldn't mind if one day they made a Zelda game that, instead of 8 full sized dungeons, we got like, 20, mini-bottom of the well-sized dungeons and one big Dungeon at the end.

I take back what I said.

Bottom of the Well is the best dungeon, it just needed at least one or two of the "lfos" line of enemies.

No, not that one! I hate that one too I'm talking about the dungeon that has all those mini bosses from past dungeons in it, and the prize after defeating them all is a piece of heart.

The Thieve's Hideout dungeon in ALttP was awesome (if you played it, you know what I'm talking about), but I'd say Turtle Rock was my favorite dungeon in that game.

I'm gonna have to say OOT's Forest Temple with the twisted hallways. That was just an awesome dungeon. Replaying that in 3D on the 3DS was just out of this world for me.

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

I remember hating the Shadow Temple when I first played Ocarina of Time a couple of years back 'cause it freaked me out. However I recently finished it in Oot 3D and loved it. And the Boss of the dungeon is easily the most memorable boss.

@LordJumpMad
The Shadow temple also has Dead Hands in it if i remember correctly.

Of all the Zelda dungeons, I'd have to say that the Spirit Temple in Ocarina of Time is by far my favorite. It was just so ingeniously designed, and not too hard and not too frustrating, if at all. I especially loved the atmosphere and music and especially the fact that you must enter it TWICE, once as a child and once as an adult. This element really made you utilize the small differences between the two Links, and for that, it is definitely the most memorable to me. I'd say it is because of that dungeon that OoT is my second favorite Zelda game behind Wind Waker, whose dungeons weren't quite as good as the Spirit Temple, but still managed to have the greatest sense of sheer size and true exploration of any of the Zelda games. But now I'm just rambling.

Oh, and all of the dungeons from Link's Awakening were awesome.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time as well. It was the first Zelda dungeon that I ever played through, and what ultimately made fall in love with the series. So yeah, mostly nostalgia reasons really, but its still a fun dungeon nonetheless.

What a freakin' tool, eh?

SuperToad

Spirit Temple. It's cool that it utilizes both child and adult forms, and its boss battle is very fun. Forest Temple is a close second, followed by Stone Tower Temple for its very clever design.

The best one is the Stone Tower Temple in Majora's Mask. You have to flip the entire temple upside down. How cool is that!
