Yeah, I'll pass. Even to the end, Gamestop will always rip everyone off.

Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

Maybe this is a good sign that GBA games are more likely to appear on the 3DS VC soon. If you can't buy them used anymore might as well put them up for download right? Makes sense to me.

Well since I have a local used game store (and you know, the internet) that has games back to the atari something or other, I'm fine with Gamestop getting rid of them. Doesn't affect (or effect? not sure) me at all.

I had to wonder why gamespot.com would give away GB/GBC games...

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

My Gamespot still have there GBA game for $30 bucks.
If there trying to get rid of them, why over price them?

The title needs to be changed. GameSpot is a video game website.

Anyway, I'll just stick with my local used game store that still carries games for just about everything dating back to the NES (notable exceptions being the 32X , the Turbografx, and the Neo Geo).

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.

Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Yeah, but Nintendo stopped production in 2005/2006. They will still continue to be sold

Thanks for the heads-up. My Gamestop stopped selling GBC games a long time ago, but it's good to know that so I can shop around for more GBA games before that date.

Not necessary. There always places like Ebay and Amazon as well as retro game places that will still sell them. More than likely Gamestop is just needing the room for 3DS stuff now and since the 3DS wont be backwards compatible with GBA and no DS system since the DSlite is the GBA games arent a big seller for them.

True words. A small business retro-gaming store by my house has GBA games for 75% less anyways.

And I saw a used copy of Pokemon Emerald at Gamestop for $50 one time. WTF?!?

I wonder if they're doing that because bootlegs are so common on ebay, it's almost scary.
Though I bought a bootleg Ruby at GameStop as well, but at least I was able to trade it right away for a legal copy. Could be much more of a hassle on ebay.

I bought WarioLand 4 and Super Star Saga there for $20 each.

My Pikmin are ready.
