Topic: Would the new Super Smash Bros Gamecube Controllers go up in value or become too common.

I've recently considered not unboxing my Smash Bros Black Gamecube Controller From Japan once it arrives because I have a feeling it will gain a bit of value in the box never used.Being retro gamers if that includes the Gamecube.From your experience of seeing certain types of controllers going up in value,can you guys see the new Super Smash Bros Gamecube controllers going up in value someday once they stop making them?

value comes down to what value the individual places on it, unless there were massive shortages or something. i don't think the smash controllers were super limited were they? btw i thought Japan exclusively got a white one..?

Well they got both the Black and White Controllers.Perhaps if I didn't give myself the option to eventually open the controller then I should've ordered the White version since it would be harder to get than the more common black version since the white one is exclusive to Japan.

Honestly, I highly doubt it.
