I won't lie, I made an account just to hawk my own eBay sale. On the other hand, my roommate apparently has had this Vboy store display in her parents basement collecting 17 years worth of dust before I said 'We should auction that, it should go to somebody... Somebody who will love it and won't keep in their basement.' ...as much as you can love a VirtualBoy.
It's in surprisingly good shape, still works, but she bent the metal plate that prevented cartridge theft because she didn't have the key to remove it from the set. So that would need to be drilled out, replaced, and a new lock installed. Otherwise it's an intact piece of Nintendo marketing history.
I'd also appreciate any suggestions on where else people would appreciate seeing this auction. I know it's not Stadium Events NTSC, but it's still pretty cool.
