To the surprise of no one who collects retro games Mega Man X still is maintaining its decent value of $20-25 for cart only despite being released on the VC again.

To blessed to be stressed.

and as i predicted kickmaster is creeping up little by little as well, people have to point the finger at the last unturned taito game...

I was saying a few years ago Jetsons was the only reasonably-priced late-era Taito game, and that quickly turned into an inaccurate statement. (then, it was a game you could buy for $20 easily, while Bubble Bobble 2 was a $100 game and FS2 maybe $175)
If KickMaster continues the trend of Taito games spiking in reverse-chronological order, I think Flintstones 1 would be behind it. (the Taito FS and Jetsons games for other consoles seem to be climbing as well.)

No matter what, some people will always want a hard copy.

I don't see many modern games appreciating in value since they print so many copies of them these days.
The only exception is Nintendo. Go on eBay/Amazon market place and look up the price of some Wii/GC games. The prices and damn ridiculous.

I'm still waiting for this to come down in price. It was never released in the NA, due to peewee's steamy hot temper and Chairy related licensing issues. Luckily, my Wii is region free and is compatible with exclusive Videoland titles.

Man, I would love a copy of that game. I'm sure waggling is put to some good use!

Of course, the box is most of SMW's CIB value as, like Tetris for GB.

Probably not. Demon Sword was released in 1989, firmly in the NES era. And I hear the Japanese version has more levels, making it... better? (to reference the AVGN reviewing Jeckyll & Hyde, though J&H repeats two levels to make the game the same length as the FC version)
But I'm surprised collecting site Digital Press gave Puzznic a 6/10 scarcity (their scale is a bit lopsided, I think most of the famous rare games are only 7, Cheetahmen is an 8.) I guess it's one of those games nobody really wants. I have seen the price of the FC version going up though, although it came from a different publisher, IGS. However, IGS did publish another game credited to Taito, Robocco Wars. I guess the thing keeping the price relatively sane is that it's obscure. I seen the price on another FC game, Time Zone, go up lately. Maybe I can be blamed for reminding people the game existed with a translation patch lately. It's a game that is kind of like a predecessor to Panic Restaurant. Good thing I got mine before that (not that it's my intent to spike prices. )

time zone almost looks and sounds like a taito game and an early one, im glad i got my panic restaurant long time ago. and power blade 2.

I wouldn't have Power Blade 2 if I didn't find a site a few years ago selling a CIB Famicom version for like $40 (which was a bit crazy but I think the NES version was like $100 loose at the time, and that is a site that generally overprices games).
Saw at auction a couple days ago for a lot with FS2, LS and Jetsons loose. It sold for nearly $1,500.

@WaveBoy
the nes versions are getting up there in price. i got them before they were even 100$
im good at predicting price spikes and such, honestly i check prices almost everyday, its tedious, but im the first to know when a game hits
