I've always wanted to see Rilo Kiley in concert. Not only because they rock, but more importantly so I could yell, "He touched my breast!" between songs and see if she's blocked out that part of her life entirely yet.
For those fortunate enough not to have seen the Wizard, that is one of her lines; I don't just randomly yell that at musicians.
Haha, yes, I do recall that scene. I saw Rilo Kiley in a fairly small place in Boston a couple years ago, during their tour for Under the Blacklight. Great show.
On a related note, the guitarist for the band was also a child star of sorts, playing that one kid on Salute Your Shorts.

Wow. Now that is one star-studded line-up. Did not know that part. That seems slightly less embarrassing, though I don't recall the show well enough to know who you mean by "that one kid."
I feel sorry for child actors. They have no idea the embarrassing memories everyone will have of them when they're older that they'll probably never live down.
OMG really I used to watch that show all the time.. Do you know what kid it was? I miss old Nickelodeon good stuff

Yeah I don't remember the show very well either, didn't really care for it even in my young Nickelodeon-watching days, but he played Pinsky, for what that's worth. He occasionally sings on Rilo Kiley albums, though I don't particularly care for the rare occasion when he sings lead on a song; backup is alright.
EDIT: I don't want to hijack the thread, but for the unaware / curious, here's how the girl in The Wizard ended up many years later, and you can also spot Pinsky on guitar.
If he's the one who sings Ripchord, I like his voice.
For some reason when I first started listening to them a few years ago I was playing Mario 2 (DDP), so now I always think of uprooting vegetables when I hear them.
Yes he sings that one -- here he is singing it at the show I attended in Boston, hooray! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwh-8aaLY68 -- I'm not embedding again since this is off-topic). But I'm not really that fond of his songs; I'm that way with other bands as well; if you've got a stellar vocalist in your group, no one else should be headlining as vocalist on a track unless they are at least on that same level. He's alright, actually, I just don't get into his songs, especially the one about living in a dreamworld.

@WariosWoods Thanks for the video,I always wanted to see that famous line. My thoughts on that advertisement is this, while he make the Power Glove look bad it is really horrible isn't it? I also watched the AVGN's video on that one. He was very foul-mouth,but his videos are hilarious!
Ah, I actually used that video when I was learning the song on ukulele. He really picked the most annoying strum pattern possible though. And it's not the greatest live song to begin with, at least not compared to the recording in all its lo-fi-y glory.

So, when you were learning that song on Ukulele, you were watching a live performance video in which someone you'd later converse with on NintendoLife was standing somewhere vaguely near the cameraman. Small world, this internet!
I never actually got the chance to try a Power Glove But it does look pretty bad and awkward. Also, poor Fred Savage is just worried that the guy with the cool glove and hair might make a move on his Jenny Lewis.
