Topic: Who here Has Mega man anniversary collection

I got the GC version when it first came out.

I have the GC version.

Capcom should have released it in Europe too. >=(

I really hope they release all these old games on VC. Only the first three are on it. With the release of MM10 on the way my hopes are getting up again.

I hope they get Saturn games on it, though otherwise we will never see MM8 on the VC.

I notice a lot of compilations lacking an European release. Why is that?

I do, got it before I even liked Mega Man! Took me a long while before I actually braved any of them, though.

Can you even get this anymore?

I got the Xbox version for 9.99 at Gamestop a couple years ago. The controller options is why I have that version, otherwise I would have gotten the PS2 version. The Gamecube version you can't change the controls around right? Or am I mistaken. I did have the gamecube version a while back and then got frustrated with the reversed controls.

I Have a copy of the Anniversary Collection, but I found the company that developed it was incompetent to do so. I think so for two reasons. One, they screwed up the GC version bad. It's hard to play any game like this that way. Second, the idiots couldn't emulate the ending of Mega Man 7, when a PC emulator CAN. I hope Capcom chooses a more reliable company to make another compiliation if they decide to include Mega Man 9 &10.

I never beat Mega Man VII (on MMAC), so I'd never known.
Guess that means it's time to order my own SNES copy of the game.

Out of all the Mega Man games, I beat: Mega Man X (favorite), Mega Man X2 (okay), and Mega Man X3 (hard). Can't wait to beat the other Mega Man games.

Absolutely. He's the one thing that elevates MM7 from "on par with the other MM games" to "hardest game in the series by far".

I have the Xbox version, and I love the remixed soundtrack. It's awesome and if you want the old-school tunes they are present as well. I never beat Mega Man 7, in fact I never made it past the Turbo Man stage. I truly truly hate that level. It is pure evil.

I wanted to get it on Gamecube, and it was going to be my entry point to the series, but it suddenly became extremely rare before I had the chance to get a copy.

Lately I've been trying to find a decently priced copy of it on Amazon.

i have it! if you can find it at gamestop, it truly is a GREAT buy. awesome value.

Mentioning MM8 just reminds me of how painfully terrible the voice acting was. It might actually be the worst voice acting EVER in a game....they even keep in the parts where the "actors" stumble over their lines.

Also the VA in 8 was easily the best part, Dr. Fudd was too good.

I had it for awhile, but I sold it. I think downloading them onto the Wii would be more appropriate, as the Gamecube controler is too awkward. The Wii remote is far nicer, I'm sure.

I hear people say the Saturn version of Mega Man 8 is far superior. Makes me wonder why for the compilation Capcom opted for the PSX version?
