Surprised so many went with gamecube; was actually my least favourite personally still liked it though.

I chose Gamecube, because I grew up with it. Although with my age, I should be saying Nintendo 64, but I never owned one. I without a doubt regard the SNES as the best game system ever simply because of its legendary games that are timeless, but my favorite? I have to go with the one I played during my childhood.

While the Virtual Console is an awesome feature of the Wii, you should choose the Wii only if you like the system for itself. Since I'm pretty sure every Nintendo system will continue the Virtual Console or some form of it from here on out, it would be strange logic. Considering, we could then call every new system the best, since they can play any of the games released so far.

I like the Wii for... everything.

I suppose once the Wii U arrives, it will be the best. I imagine it will contain the Wii's entire WiiWare and VC titles at launch. If so, yes!

My first game was Sonic the Hedgechog. But SNES is still my favorite. I actully didnt get my SNES till about 2 years ago...

Yeah WiiU does look intersting... But I don't think any system will ever best the SNES.

I may have a new favorite. ^-^ I ordered a GameBoy Player in the mail, a game cube, and metroid zero mission. I havent gotten it yet but I have a feeling I'm going to like the GameBoy Player/Game Cube more then a SNES... Its all about the GameBoy Player though. So you could say GameBoy advanced SP but I only like playing them on a big screen and a GC controller.
