Mine is Super Mario Bros 3, I think it still looks and plays very well, easily the best 8-bit mario, and somehow I'm not a big fan of Super Mario World.
We had to start the game from start everytime I played the first mario bros when I was a kid, there was no save function in the Super Mario Bros game, but yeah the virtual console save function is great.
I like them all but, Super Mario Wii.... Thats one felt too easy

A bunch of you don't like World? A bunch of you are picking NSMB DS? It's just an opinion it's just an opinion ..... Well anyway I would say World, closely followed by NSMBW, then fairly closely followed by SMB3. All 3 are among my 10 favorite games ever.
