I once found Secret of Mana on sale for $8 on the Virtual Console.

I acquired a sealed copy of Pokémon Snap for 10$ and boxed copies of Castlevania, Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest, Startropics, The Legend of Zelda and Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link for fifteen dollars each. The boxes are in impeccable condition and the manuals as well, my only gripe is that the letter is missing from Startropics.

Bacon, RPG elements and cute girls, what more could you want?

I don't get amazing deals, but I find well priced stuff at a local Pawn Shop, i.e. Legend of Zelda, Super Metroid, Super Mario All-Stars, DK Country and Castlevania so far. Plus, they play the games as they get them to make sure they still save, etc.

Ninten

A japanese copy of Breath of Fire III for like 10 dollars.
And also Breath of Fire on the GBA for FREE.

I found 'My Favourite Pony 6: Fun At The Stables' for $400 at my local garage. A steal!

About 10 years ago a guy at a garage sale was selling FF III/VI on SNES for $5. It was a good deal then and a good one now. I didn't haggle him on the price. When the game first came out in the US it was about $80. Finding Super Metroid and Goldeneye about 7 years ago for $5 used each.

Ooh, that's a tough one, I have a lot of collectibles. I have a Zelda Game & Watch as well as a Zelda wristwatch LCD game, I also have a bunch of VFD handhelds, a Japanese Amidar, Mattel Star Hawk, Entex Defender and Stargate and like 10 more. Then I have a huge collection of Tiger Electronic handhelds, I think I'm at like 30 something of them. And I have other LCD handhelds, Monster Panic, some Bandai Dragon Ball and Gundam LCD's. I also have a rare Strider Hiryu manga and Strider plexiglas arcade sign. I have a huge collection of games and gaming paraphernalia mostly from the 80's and 90's.

Excluding shipment, I recently got a complete and working Commodore 64 Set Up +140 Disks full of games for just 16€.

Just think about it. Last Ninja 2, Winter Games and Paradroid on the VC alone would have cost me 15€...

Got an Atari VCS and controllers for free. Found it in a box someone had thrown out. All in working order and top cosmetic condition. Just needed to buy a power adaptor. Result!
