Topic: What Retro titles have you BEATEN recently?

Just beat Dr Mario level 20 on slow. Took my time. Playing from level 1 through. Understanding the game and using tactics. Must say my tactics were different from say level 7 than the ones I used for level 20. Took me several attempts but I managed to beat it and get a sense of accomplishment. Now onto medium speed and it's proving quite difficult. Not using rewind function. This is one of my favourite games! Totally hooked!

I got Playstation Now and have just finished the original God of War(Is that retro, I think it's probably borderline). It surprised me how much it felt like a Zelda game.

@Wargoose Nope that is not retro. If it's this gen or last it's not retro.

@Tasuki fair enough. It's originally a PS2 game, so that's why I say it's borderline. I think It's technically the PS3 version because it's the HD remaster, but it looks like an upscaled PS2 game.

I finished the Xbox version of Final Fantasy IX through the Gamepass service. It was a pretty rough version of this lovely game but I ultimately had a lot of fun with it and finished it pretty fast.

After 25 years or however long it has been, I finally beat King's Quest VII. Now to see if I can get my old CD-Rom of King's Quest VIII to work. I got I-VII in the Collection on Steam, but for some reason they did not include VIII (that's a joke, I know why they didn't include VIII, but I still always rather enjoyed it even though it's completely different. I just never beat it).
