Depends on what you like and what you grew up with. Honestly I can't pick one I enjoy most of them NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS, PS2, Neo Geo etc. etc.
The one I don't enjoy a whole lot is the N64. A few games like Goldeneye or the WWE games but for the most part the N64 didn't age well.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Although PC is second to none for its vast back catalogue my point is that I wouldn't consider something capable of playing Doom 2016 to be a retro console

If it's retro to Nintendo, why not to us?
On that note, although I don't personally count it as retro, my vote would go to the Wii U.
The majority of worthwhile NES, SNES and N64 titles are available on the Wii or Wii U VC. Wii U also benefits from DS and GBA virtual console and backwards compatibility with Wii games. And there are plenty of controller options (classic, pro, gamepad).
