Topic: What in the world is in my N64 controller?

So, I bought an N64 finally. It came with two controllers, one had nothing in the accessory port, the other has... this?

It just won't come out of the controller, and I can't find anything on Google that resembles this. Is it some sort of waffle maker?

Any insight on this would be appreciated. Sorry for the bad pictures, all I could muster up.

Okay, so after a little more research, it seems it's a "Naki" brand 2x capacity memory card. Naki is apparently a super obscure accessory company based on Hong Kong. The only other person I can find on the internet that has had this card had the same thing happen to him. He couldn't get it out.

No matter what I do as well, it won't budge.

I've WD-40'd the sides of it, and now I'm trying to get the evil that is this memory card out of this controller. Wish me luck doods!

Edit: That didn't work! I'm gonna try to cut it out with a knife now.

I'm convinced this memory card is nothing short of evil, and for the sake of gamedom, have pledged to make it meet its demise.

lol, @WildTwinVikings why would you want to save the memory card if it gets stuck in the controller permanently? Memory cards aren't that expensive.

Finally, after 2 hours, WD-40, A flathead screwdriver, pliers, a butter knife, a steak knife, and some kitchen tongs, me and my brother managed to destroy the card in the port and chip it out! Did some aesthetic damage to the controller, but seems to still work.

Mission accomplished!
