Didn't know that ... It looks a lot like TP to me... and the battle ... just Ganondorf and Link ... in a small room ... no tricks, just the swords - seems really really cool to me!

If they'd released something like that instead of the toony WW it would've sold far better. They say that TP saved the series after declining sales.
Oracle of Ages/Seasons: 7.92 million Ocarina of Time: 7.6 million Legend of Zelda: 6.51 million Link's Awakening: 6.05 million Twlight Princess: 5.84 million A Link to the Past: 4.61 million Zelda II: 4.38 million Phantom Hourglass: 4.13 million Majora's Mask: 3.36 million Wind Waker: 3.07 million Four Swords Adventures: 225,000
I don't believe the lower sales of Wind Waker compared to TP had anything to do with the games themselves. The latter was a launch title for an enormously successful platform with a ton of hype. I actually believe WW would have sold much more than TP if it were first released on the Wii as a motion-enabled launch title.

What's wrong with the new ones sure it's easier then before but even i admit i prefer Toon Link over Link. Besides it's not about the graphics it's about gameplay. You just have issue.
@Swerd, probably because the best part of FSA was the multiplayer, and you have to shell out enormous craploads of cash in order to enable 4-players, because Ninty wanted to make money and thus chose to have each successive player hook up a GBA instead of a GC pad. and the single player game (while good, yes) was almost a straight rip-off of LttP. the multiplayer was the focus of that game with the single player a side note, and nobody used the multiplayer. it was also a big departure from the open, adventure filled world everybody loved about zelda games, what with the level system, and all. again, not a bad game, but it's not all that.
