I was trying to recall what games I hadn't yet beat and I remembered the original Rampage for the NES. I was determined to go all the way through and when I finally beat the 200-and-something level, I got "CONGRATULATIONS!" on a black screen. That's it. I spent several hours sitting in the same chair staring at the same buildings, eating the same people, and punching the same fishbowl and all I get is "CONGRATULATIONS!" To top it off, I did it by myself. So, it literally took twice as long. Of course, if someone else was there, I probably would have spent even more time punching them and knocking them off the buildings. At least I would have had more fun.
Another game was Alone in the Dark for the Wii. It was just a horrible game, but I spent money on it and felt I needed to finish it. There was absolutotely nothing redeemeable about that game. I sold it as soon as I was done. I have never sold another game before or after that.
What games do you regret spending time that you can never reclaim on?
I regret washing my games too.
I gotta stop leaving them in my pants when I go to the cleaners.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Well, the games I regret wasting so much time on are the ones you can't really beat. Spent over 100 hours on New Leaf last year and really wish I'd spent it on something else, and if course World of Warcraft which was pretty much the only game I played for 3 years between 2007 and 2009.
The one I regret spending so much time is Catherine....
I really like puzzles, but once I finished it, I was like "so..... yeah..... umm.... it is STILL a cheating story..."
what I[m trying to say is, even thou I enjoyed playing the game, I stressed myself even more than having fun...

You know you think these gaming companies would invent some kinda waterproof devices to protect out games. I mean this happens all the time. Just don't know why they haven't gotten to work on this yet.
The cat's the only cat who knows where it's at.
NNID: Muffin-Gun
Star Fox Assault - I was very disappointed on so many levels.
Jak and Dexter 2 - I felt it was dull and didn't like how the city felt empty with little to no exploration, you're just basically going from point A to point B all the time.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo - Oh man, the controls were poor, trying to aim for a single target was a hassle, why can't I shoot while boosting at the same time? Mission 3 was a nightmare. Can't believe I gotten S rank on every mission and unlock everything from that game.
Shadow the Hedgehog - Why did I bought this?
None. If I beat it, it's because I felt it deserved to be played to completion. But thank you for reminding me why I think it's stupid to beat games you don't like.

All the games I listed is when I was 10 or 11 years old and were just time killers that I played during the summer and thinking back now I could have use all that time from playing those games on to something more beneficial for myself.

But why would they want that? If you ruin the game, you have to buy another copy.

To clarify, this is not the norm. Thanks for the input and I'm glad I could be of service.

This. Usually games don't fall in this category, I have played some sub par games, but it's not like I regretted the time I spent playing it.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
Uh, what... does the game have something do with people who love to collect books? Because I can't imagine they're going to playing many video games.
Unless they like to collect books and never read them. Which I suppose is possible. There's CERTAINLY people who love to collect video games but never play them. (as oppose to others who collect games with plans to eventually play them )
I'm rambling when I should be going to bed.
