Super Mario Sunshine. I don't remember the last time I saw such realistic water effects in a game. Resident Evil 4 looked AMAZING during its time, and still holds up today. Tomb Raider Legend: a game that is too often overlooked
Well, a good-looking Gamecube games looks just as good as a good-looking Wii game.
F-Zero GX Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year-Door Starfox Adventures Soul Calibur II Super Mario Sunshine The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Above is just a bunch of Gamecube games from 2003 and 2004 that look as good as if they were brandnew. And the Gamecube has many more good-looking games that have graphics as beautiful as Wii graphics. It makes sense to have the New Play Control series, the Metroid Prime Trilogy and a Resident Evil 4 for Wii.
And even Gamecube-Games that aren't technologically super advanced still look pretty. That includes all games made by Nintendo, killer7, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, etc.
Ikaruga. Looks great even compared to today's shmups. There's a lot of slowdown with the boss explosions but I think that's intentional seeing how it happened in the arcade and Dreamcast versions of the game too.
Kirby Air Ride Super Smash Bros Melee Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Update Where did you get the idea that Sunshine was realistic? Check it on youtube (and then put the video on my forum)
I was completely blown away by Wind Wakers graphics when it came out 7 years ago, and I'm still just as impressed today. Even better when you see it in 480P.

Yeah if you like South Park. I couldnt stand Wind Wakers graphics. They were so horrible that I couldnt get into the game at all.
Personally I think that Rampage Total Destruction had some pretty good graphics for the GC. Also another one that had better graphics than its PS2 and Xbox counterparts was Soul Caliber 2. Still think the graphics are nice to this day.

There are some Gamecube games, such as Wind Waker and Paper Mario that will always look gorgeous, due to their brilliant art direction. Those with pseudorealistic graphics doesn't age as well. Still, there are a few games that still look good after all those years: Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, F-Zero GX, Starfox Adventures, etc.

Metroid Prime 1 & 2. I can see it has aged, but it doesn't feel dated. I love the details in the visor, from the rain ripples to seeing Samus' animated reflection from the blasts that are still awe-inspiring.
I'd like them to come out with a widescreen WW release. Perhaps wait for the next system and re-release some Gamecube titles in at least 720p that would do a lot for the graphics. I got bored of WW and never made it all that far but I have a craving for it now. Too bad I have the game packed up in someone's crawlspace as of two or three days ago.
