I mean, all the stages and cameos have to mean something, right?

A Luigi's Mansion sequel would be great! It could work for the 3DS.

Spyro? Crash Bandicoot? Bubsy!?!?! Talk about games I wouldn't want to see return! I guess some of you grew up with the wrong type of games.

I have to agree about a new Shining Force. We've had a lot of Shining games since but they completely change the battle system, which is the main reason I love the series. It seriously is the most strategic battle system I have ever played in an RPG and is so much fun. Usually in an RPG I'm like "oh another battle - sigh" but in Shining Force I actually look forward to them.

I don't know what "Bubsy" is, but yeah, Spyro and Crash! What's wrong with them?

Busby is a Squirrel who had gameplay similar to the Sonic games. I only remember because a relative had the game...there's apparently a sequel to it too...

Main Final Fantasy & Quest/Shinobi Team fan...but I do like many SEGA games and a few Nintendo games.

I can be cute if I want to be, but I choose not to...as it's not my style.

Actually he's a cat, you might be thinking of Mr Nutz which was a much better game.

Oh yeah...although he does look like a squirrel...I remember that game having great graphics but I forgot how it plays.

Can one game be counted as a franchise? I hear a lot of usage of this word everywhere these days. Could someone please explain what does it mean, plainly.

Bubsy has been called a Sonic clone quite a lot, though it was a lot slower and the large levels not particularly well made, having a ton of catch phrases was his gimmick meant to give him attitude though it seems it just annoyed most people, personally I thought it was ok though obviously flawed, Bubsy 2 added nerf ball shooting and more freedom in playing the levels in what order you want and I quite liked it even had some strange bonus games, Bubsy 3D seems to have killed the series haven't played that one but its often a contender in worst games lists, a Bubsy 2 like game I'd welcome.

Bubsy 3D? Like, the virtual boy? Consults Google

EDIT: Ah, I see now. It was for the Playstation. His voice is EXTREMELY annoying, and he breaks the fourth wall a lot.

haha, awesome.
I'd buy a remake of any of my old favorites in an instant. like ducktales or earthbound on the 3ds.

An attitude? Breaking the fourth wall? Is Sonic Colours going the way of Busby? (or even Busby 3D?)

It will likely never happen, but I'd love to finally see that Commander Keen game they never released come into reality some twenty years over time. Better late than never.

Another Chrono Trigger sequel is a no-brainer. Chrono Cross wasn't even released here in Europe. The first game's DS version was, though, and it was amazing.

Jazz Jackrabbit had a third game in the making but it was cancelled. Too bad!
