Topic: Your opinion on super mario sunshine?

Now that we have one on SMG. We can see what people think of this game. If there is already a thread for this lock it!

It was an awesome game. Nuff said.

Well, it's the best of the 3D Marios, no doubt. Like Galaxy, it is a pretty frustrating experience, but this time for the right reasons.

One of the very best games of all time, and definitely the best Mario game (2D or 3D) ever. 'Nuff said.

I haven't played SMW, so I'll take your word for it.

It's decent compared to other mario games , but definitely NOT the best IMO.

Never could get into it. Not very fond of FLUDD either.

Fludd was a horrible addition IMO, the game itself was ok, but its my least favorite 3D Mario so far.

It was the only Mario platformer that I did not like. FLUDD ruined the game. Oh, and Odnetin, you should really buy Super Mario World on the VC. It is one of the best Mario games ever made.

It was my second favorite, Super Mario 64 is my first!

Hated it when compared to other Mario games. I've seen and played way better.

It's not the best game in the series, but I do feel it at least to be decent. It was one of my first GameCube titles, and one I had wholeheartedly enjoyed years ago.

Someone who hasn't play Super Mario World is not qualified to declare Sunshine the best Mario ever. Especially someone wearing that ridiculous propeller suit.

Guys, if Od feels SMS is the best Mario game, then Od feels SMS is the best Mario game. I've got no problem with that.

It has a LOT of charm, but...eh. I can see exactly why people would love it...the soundtrack is awesome, the levels are appealing, and it's still got the best looking water I've EVER seen in a video game...but some serious camera problems (I particularly remember them in the amusement park levels) really crippled the experience for me.

I didn't hate the concept of FLUDD the way a lot of people do; I understand that it changed the platforming dynamic but I was getting enough of the old-school stuff from the FLUDD-less levels anyway. I just didn't like when it talked and got cut scenes all to itself and overall tried to make you care about what was essentially a garden hose attached to a keg.

So it's near the bottom of my favorite Mario games...but that's almost like calling Core the weakest Bit.Trip game. It's still pretty ****ing awesome.

It is my favorite Mario game, including the 2D ones, ever.
