Games you are glad you held on to because they can never be on VC due to licensing issues or possibly made by a defunct company. here's mine. 1. Banjo Kazooie 2. Banjo Tooie 3. Conker's bad fur day. 4. Earthbound

Note: These are all Genesis games, as that is my only pre-GameCube console (other than the 32X, which although unlikely, could join the VC, and none of my 32X games have any licensing issues). 1. TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist 2. Aladdin 3. Tiny Toon Adventures: Acme All-Stars 4. TMNT: Tournament Fighters 5. Taz in Escape from Mars 6. Gargoyles 7. The Adventures of Batman and Robin 8 & 9. Both NBA Jam games (They fell to the bottom due to the Wii NBA Jam that will soon be released.)
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

1. Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64) 2. Jet Force Gemini (N64) 3. Blast Corps (N64) 4. Perfect Dark (N64) 5. GoldenEye (N64) 6. Banjo-Tooie (N64) 7. Banjo-Kazooie (N64) 8. Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage (N64) 9. Space Station Silicon Valley (N64) 10. Body Harvest (N64)
My other favourite retro games: I think Mischief Makers has a good chance to come out.... Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 1 & 2 could come out.... I hope that Tetrisphere comes out, but if not I still have it on N64. I even think Earthbound will be released one day.
I'm always reluctant to call N64 games "retro" (though i guess they've gotten there by now), but off the top of my head i'd have to say the N64 WCW games (best wrestling games ever) and the almighty, uber-awesome Blast Corps. BLAST CORPS! BLAST CORPS! BLAST CORPS!
1. Yoshi's Island 2. Castle of Illusion 3. A Nightmare on Elm street - ( It's a guilty Nes pleasure, and I'm obsessed with the NIghtmare franchise ) 4. Contra
And honestly, why hasn't Splatterhouse 3 been released for the VC yet? I wouldn't mind the actual Arcade original either which I havent actualy played yet..The Turbo GFX version on the other hand looks kind of iffy, and I hate Rick's red Mask.lol
Yoshi's Island will be released once Nintendo can figure out how to properly emulate the Super FX. Hey, Star Fox Command is essentially Star Fox 2.
I still have a lot of existing games to get, but Metal Storm for me. There's an obvious desire to see more N64 games, even if they are all Rare titles. I want to see them rapidly expand the VCA titles with GOOD games, not the games they've put out so far.
Kickle Cubicle. I don't know of any reason that it can't be released on VC, except for the fact that nobody remembers it but me.
I never played that game Chicken but I do remember it. I remember seeing it at the video store among all the other games for rental but I just never got it.
@SuperToad: I dont think SUper Game Boy counts cause that was more of an adapter than anything else. Although it would be nice so see some GB games come to the VC.

I never owned it, but a friend had it, and I (well, we) spent a good few hours with it. It was great fun. Sort of a puzzle-heavy Star Tropics kind of game; I loved it. It may have been long out of print by the time I played it, though, as I never saw it for sale (used or otherwise) after that.
As far as licensed stuff goes, all the standard Capcom-made NES Disney ones, with Duck Tales or Darkwing Duck wanted in particular.
