Topic: What are some NES games you can't play just the first level of?

I've had a strong desire to at least try every NES game and decided to make a challenge out of it.
I have my degree in Visual Design specializing in Video editing and animation so I decided to do this as a YouTube channel.

The hardest part is not being able to play more than the first level on some of these great games.

The hardest one for me, so far, was Zelda 2 Adventure of Link. I absolutely love that game and really struggled to put it down and move on to another game.

What are some NES games you can't put down after just the first level?

I'm on a quest to beat the first level of every official NES game.

Gargoyle's quest 2and River City Ransom because there aren't any levels in the game so if you don't count the save points allowed in the emulator, you have to finish it all lol. Also, it's quite fun.

I haven't played many NES games to begin with, the first Zelda game I never got that far...guessing part of it was difficulty. Other part being the NES games never appealed to me, since I grew up with the SNES.

@bezerker99 He meant the title in a "I can't put this down!" kinda way. On that note, Mega Man, Super Mario Bros., and of course Ducktales instantly spring to mind. Oh yeah, and Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, and one shooter...blanking on the name...oh yeah, Contra.

I've beaten TMNT, Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link individually all in one sitting. Those games are timeless and never get old to me. The NES is my favorite console of all time! (Once I start playing, it's hard to stop)

Don't worry about it. It's arguably a discreet advertisment for his Youtube channel (which is at least better than some of the blatant self-advertising we get around here), so I don't blame you for misinterpreting his intentions, seeing as you have to keep in mind that he's doing doing something specific for his channel. Honestly, this is why I tend to just skip to the main point in an opening post, sometimes the foreward just hurts more than helps...
