A friend and I recently completed a Joint Venture LP for Diddy Kong Racing (on his YouTube Channel) and we encountered two very weird Glitches involving Bumper; one of the characters.
The first video shows Bumper mysteriously "flying" to the other side of the Map on Snowball Valley.
The second video shows Bumper getting stuck in the Rocks in DarkWater Beach.

Yeah the AI could get pretty messed up in that game.
There's also a few other glitches, such as in levels with water, it's sometimes possible to go under the world and drive around out-of-bounds if you hit the water hard while doing a barrel roll. It's used by speed-runners to skip parts of the course. Most frequently seen on Hot Top Volcano and the final Wizpig Race.
