I've never played LJN's Jaws.
After seeing the movie i've always been afraid to step in the water.....Even when it's 8-bits.

BTW Beetlejuice was an extremely confusing frustrating disaster, at least based on my pee-wee experience back in the early whirly 90's with the ghost with the most. I could never figure out what i was supposed to do or where i was supposed to go. It's devastating knowning that LJN got the rights to all of these amazing movie franchises and took pixel-pride in destroying practically EVERY single one of them.

I owned Maximum Carnage(Who could forget the blood red cart) back on the mega drive, and hated every minute of it. It was maximum torture ;) Doppleganger kept tossing me around like a rag doll.lol At that point, all i wanted to do was play TMNT II: The Arcade game, Double Dragon & Battletoads instead. :*

This beat em`up is viper vicious. That one guy taking a wiz against the wall must have some sort of terrible disease. His pee-flow ressembles that of an abnormally thick rotten banana milkshake :P Plus I love when an enemy gets thrown to the ground,....it`s like their limbs turn gummy, while their entire body as a whole looks like it`s been run over a by a pancake truck.

@Waveboy: It's amazing isn't it that LJN lasted along they did? I guess we were to busy slurping down Turtle pies and drinking Crystal Pepsi to really notice.

Yo @MadAussieBloke, those Amiga games are awesome amigo!

I remember playing the DOS version of DuckTales and I didn't like it (maybe 1994, 1995?). I don't know if it's bad or I just didn't get it. I wished I was playing the GB version (since I didn't have an NES as a kid), but the game was long out of print by that point and I didn't know about FuncoLand.

I'd have to disagee with you on that. LJN published some of the worst video games of the 8-bit era. Just ask The Angry Video Game Nerd. Nintendo, Konami, Capcom, Square Soft., Enix (now know as Square Enix) Bandai and Namco (now Bandai Namco) were some of the best.

Ever sense I played the GBA I saw Hyrule, saved Peach, defeated the Underworld, flew in the Arwing and went on many adventures on other consoles.

Can't wait for Flipnote Studio 3D, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XVI and PS4!

Why would I ask The Angry Video Game Nerd? He's terrible at video games and doesn't know a good game if it smacked him in the face.

Well, most of the games he plays are hard like Ghost 'n Goblins and Castlevania for example.

lol. It's annoying when people jump on the LJN hating Angry Nintendo Nerd bandwagon. These same people most likely never touched an LJN game in their lives to judge for themselves. Generic ignorant answer > LJN SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bunch of noobs. ;)

As far as the NES is concerened, A Nightmare on Elm Street was one of the semi decent(Although it could of been miles better, but this is quality goop by LJN standards, sort of.) games they whipped out, and some would argue Friday the 13th if you got used to the confusing wonky map layout and some of the frustrating sluggish characters. Then there's T & C Surf which had some great tough as nails Sidescrollin' skateboarding! the last two were backed up with some pretty great music as well. I applaud LJN for at least incorperating amazing music into their lazy & lack luster slew of video game poopage.

Brilliant track, that is in league with the original LOZ's dungeon music.

The sound of these crashing 8-bit waves were amazing, backed up by a toobular tune that perfectly captures surfing on the N-E-S. B-)

Time to bust out those groovy 'n galactic dance moves, only Spicoli would dare take this incredible track on. :*

For as bad as LJN was, they did a great job of continuing to suckering us into purchasing their games. Everyone had at least a few copies of LJN games that I knew. Maybe it was the bright neon they used on their boxes that attracted us like Baxter Stockman to a street light.

@Waveboy: Yeah their music was top shelf.

He's a character.
So I hear James Rolfe likes Castlevania II despite bashing it in the Nerd videos.

I did rent Spiderman & the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge for SNES. Tried for a weekend, couldn't pass a single level (except of course the Spiderman intro you'll get sick of playing quickly).
Most annoying was the Wolverine level, where it seemed to just randomly decide if Wolverine is allowed to use his claws (which you kind of need to destroy the walls). :P

Yup, I know he's a character, I was just having fun with @TylerBH. :) Yes, he does like Castlevania II and so do I with some guide use. ;)

Speaking of LJN and the Nerd, have you seen the Bill & Ted's episode?
