I actually liked Jaws and T&C Surf Designs as a kid.

I'm afraid to play them again. I'd lose all respect for myself.

Same here. I also rather enjoyed Karate Kid, even as annoying as it was (Monsoon level FTL).
I think I ended up playing a lot of LJN games since they were always on the shelf at the video store when it was a-rentin' time.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Jaws is actually a really solid game. The problem is that once you know what to do it takes around 20 minutes tops to beat. I'll stand with the guys that said NOES and Friday the 13th are fairly good as well. Friday is a surprisingly complex game all things considered.

I'm sure there are some other gems.

Where's the KABOOM?! There was supposed to be an earth-shattering KABOOM! sigh delays...delays...

My most played LJN game back in the day was Roger Clemens PED Baseball at least I think that was the name of it anyway. LJN really started to shine though on the SNES with games like Warlock, Alien 3, and the WWF games.

@ogo79: Actually, not playing it. Just thought it was a totally rad avatar to have for a little while. I tried it when I first got it, seems goofy and fun. Got to get around it to someday like so many of my games. lol

I suppose you know Jaleco just took a generic Famicom platformer and rewrote the script to make it all hip by filling it with 1991 buzzwords that of course was groan-worthy by 1992.

What happened to The Nerd's movie?? Did that ever come out?

It's coming out Q4 2013/Q1 2014

Actually according to his latest update in April he said 'it will be a long time' and 'any attempt to guess would only prove us wrong'.

In other words he doesnt have a release date yet. He says that its pretty much finished though it just needs some special effects and editing but again according to James its require alot of special effects work.

^Yeah, he's doing post-production on it now — which is always the longest part of filmmaking, especially for an indy film.
