Topic: Virtual Boy Power Supply Question

I just got a used Virtual Boy, but it was missing the power supply when I bought it, and I'm not delighted about the idea that I will have to keep feeding it 6 AA batteries each time they die. I don't want to spend too much on eBay or Amazon, and I know you can use an adapter to make a SNES or NES power supply fit Virtual Boy, but I don't know where to find said adapter. Any suggestions? Maybe a website with a tutorial?

I do know there was an AC adapter for the Virtual Boy cause that is what mine has. I never have to worry about batteries when playing my VB.

I believe you are looking for a Virtual Boy AC Tap. There are two different models, one for Japanese markets and the other for the American. Either model Tap will work with any VB, but you need to use a SNES adaptor from the region your Tap came from (for example, a Japanese Tap will require a Japanese Super Famicom adaptor, and an American Tap will need an American SNES adaptor).

Your best bet is for look for one on Ebay - I gave up trying to find one for my model ages ago, so good luck!
