I, too, just got a Virtual Boy Thursday. So far, I gotta say I love it! Besides the dim-witted stand, which only seems to work when it's backwards. Only got Mario's Tennis, though. I've got my eye on Virtual Boy Wario Land, and will likely order it in October when we have more money...and batteries!

I just want to say that the Virtual Boy does NOT make your head explode. But, of course, since one person started the rumor (we don't spell it rumours in America) it's instantly true. Mario's Tennis is fun when you get the hang of it, and all you have to do avoid headaches is adjust the intensity of the 3D properly. It isn't that hard.

It's amazing what the Internet can do to make something look bad.

So, I rock it!

I always liked the Virtual Boy. I never had any problems with it and I have always weared glasses. Its kinda weird that I had no problem seeing the 3D with the VB but I get headaches and my eye hurts form the 3DS, but than again I have only played the 3DS at places like Target and Bestbuy and they have the darn thing bolted down to a counter so I cant really move it around.

Two of my favorite VB games were Warioland and Mario Clash.

I love my Virtual Boy, it's an interesting curio that is worth playing around with.

Wario Land VB is definitely the best title by far, but I am partial to a bit of Teleroboxer and Innsmouth No Yakata on the odd occasion I dig out my VB.

I contributed an article to the R3play Expo's official magazine about the Virtual Boy's history; it should be available in the next few months, if anyone is interested.

If by "rock it" you mean broke it with a rock, then yes.

Just for you.

I don't do either. I sock them.

By which I mean I put them in socks.

I own 3 and really love it! I play a lot of Panic Bomber and Mario Tennis and will soon own Wario Land and Mario Clash. In fact, my goal is to own every US released Virtual Boy game

That's a very admirable goal, and from what I've heard; quite a feasible thing to do if you know where to look.
Now getting a full Japanese collection - That's a heartbreaker (and a walletbreaker too).

The great thing about the VB is that very few games have any language barriers (especially the titles that were released in both Japan & American, as I believe they are the exact same code). Most of the games that do have Japanese text, the games can still be enjoyed regardless.

@bboy2970 If getting the entire boxed Pokémon mini set was difficult for me, I can imagine how hard it must be to get the same for Virtual Boy. However, finding every NON-boxed Virtual Boy game seems much more possible. I wish you luck on your epic quest, but I personally will not even attempt it. I don't think I'd ever succeed.

On a different note, it's nice to see someone who doesn't absotively hate the Virtual Boy for no solid reason. Along with some others.

I have never owned a Virtual Boy, and likely never will. The 3DS's 3D has given me headaches, so I hate to imagine how my head will feel after playing the VB. Also, the red and black graphics do not appeal to me whatsoever. However, if Nintendo would release some of the VB games (like VB Wario Land and Mario Clash) either as Virtual Console games or 3D Classics with either black and white or colored graphics, then I will certainly consider buying some of the VB games. But no matter how good the games are, it is not worth buying an unappealing system in order to play them.
