hi guys,im looking at a US N64 on ebay but has no leads and i wondered if the UK leads will fit and work?

Yes they will, I had one back in the day and used my UK N64 leads on it when I was in the UK

Yes. And ditto for the Gamecube; just exchange the PSU for a local one and it will work

You should get the s-video cable it is much better than the normal one.

The ones from http://www.consolegoods.co.uk have been good in my experience. (Always correct i.e not too bright colours etc).

is s-video better then component cable and does it fit LED tv's?

It in not better than component but the USA N64 only outputs composite and s-video (s-video is significantly better on both new and old tv's). It is possible to get RGB output but it is very expensive as it is a quite difficult custom mod.

I have no s-video port in my tv.

Sometimes you need an adapter scart to s-video. If it supports it (Might be referred to as SVHS).

I have an extra N64 lying around and one that I need to get sell off ( because the third one is just trash waiting to throw out. No really I have to clean it out and all that horrible work. ). I think I might have an fourth one around the place, if I dig deep enough.
