My dad 'n' me rented quite a lot of games in these days too. I just can't remember most of them well enough to say if they really were that good. Little Nemo: The Dream Master, Banana Prince, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers and Castlevania come to mind.

@ Waveboy Once you've played Mega man 6 you'll see that it was actually the worst of the Nes games. Mega man 4 wasn't as good as 2 and 3 but not quite the worst. At least it had Pharaoh man and skull man. All the bosses in 6 were just terrible. Capcom was clearly bored with it by this point.

I love how you completely mention Mega Man 3, and then skip right to MM5....lol It's just more proof how horrible MM4 really was. Although I have yet to play MM6 in the original MM Nes titles, MM4 hands down was the worst....I mean it was 'alright' at best, but compared to MM3 before it, it was such an utter dissapointment it's not even funny.
Lol, I actually did that because I never played Mega Man 4 as a kid. Same with MM6. I finally played them on the PS2 Mega Man Anniversary Collection. I have no hate for MM4 but yeah, it was a big disappointment especially after MM3.

Good times. Most of these games were way too hard when I was a kid, so every X-years I'd revisit them and be extremely happy when I was finally able to beat it.
Our family only had super mario bros. and Faxanadu (random huh) and my friend had smb3 and tmnt. I remember the password system in Faxanadu was a pain in the rear end.

1.) Super Mario Bros (Not my favorite Mario game but definitely my most played.) 2.) Super Mario Bros 2 (Say what you want but this is still my favorite of the 8-bit Marios. I love the weirdness of Subcon.) 3.) Super Mario Bros 3 (Overrated, but still a pretty good game that I spent a lot of time with as a kid.) 4.) Zelda II (Took me roughly twenty years to beat this game!) 5.) Duck Hunt (That damn dog!) 6.) Duck Tales (A game I was a master at as a kid but am terrible at as an adult. I feel like it maybe hasn't aged so well...) 7.) The Simpsons: Bart vs the World (I was surprised to find out that people consider this game nearly impossible. I beat it and I never even owned it. *shrug) 8.) Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! (I still hate Bald Bull.) 9.) TMNT (Played and played it as a kid but always kinda-sorta hated it. Nowhere near as fun as the second one.) 10.) The Legend of Zelda (Never owned it but did rent it pretty frequently.)
