This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I still wonder to this day why I came up one key short in the Gerudo Training Ground in Ocarina of Time. There were two useless doors that I opened and, had I not opened them, I would've had enough keys. Too my knowledge, I found every key. Maybe it was just me, because I've never heard anyone talk about it. Maybe I'll get the Ice Arrows when I play through Ocarina of Time 3D.

Really? I've known those were some sort of speaker since I was, like, 4.
And I think the lack of keys is supposed to happen in the Gerudo Training ground. It's like a trap. Of course, I could be wrong.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

I knew they were some sort of speakers since I was a little kid. Besides, how could an acorn give you advice?

I don't know, I just attributed it to the Japanese being weird or something.
I had fun once and it was awful.

That there is an actual purpose for an Altered Beast cartridge for the Genesis!
When the Altered Beast title screen appears, remove the cartridge from the Genesis without turning off the system. Then insert Strider, press reset and start the game with infinite lives.

I miss Japanese games, the good stuff... Games that are imaginative, have good and unique gameplay, a great soundtrack, and replay value.

I just realized that in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, the bird that you race against named Chooperbird is a man in a helibird suit.
I always thought those legs were just weird limbs and the bearded chin was its tongue. I feel creeped.

Oh...I thought the subtitle was Diddy Kong's Quest.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Yeah, me too. Until a few months ago, when I bought it and added it to my Backloggery. I couldn't believe the subtitle wasn't Diddy Kong's Quest. Then I lol'd when I noticed the pun.

That moment. When you realize that even after 16 years and 5 Generations...That Growlithe still can't learn Growl.
It hasn't been quite as long, as its a 2nd generation move, but I'm astounded that Pinsir still can't learn Megahorn. It also took an extra generation before Lickitung could learn Lick.
