Posted: Sun 5th Feb 2012 21:43 GMT This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I still wonder to this day why I came up one key short in the Gerudo Training Ground in Ocarina of Time. There were two useless doors that I opened and, had I not opened them, I would've had enough keys. Too my knowledge, I found every key. Maybe it was just me, because I've never heard anyone talk about it. Maybe I'll get the Ice Arrows when I play through Ocarina of Time 3D.

I've known those were some sort of speaker since I was, like, 4. And I think the lack of keys is supposed to happen in the Gerudo Training ground. It's like a trap. Of course, I could be wrong.

When the Altered Beast title screen appears, remove the cartridge from the Genesis without turning off the system. Then insert Strider, press reset and start the game with infinite lives. It hasn't been quite as long, as its a 2nd generation move, but I'm astounded that Pinsir still can't learn Megahorn. It also took an extra generation before Lickitung could learn Lick.
