We all know that tube televisions are hard to find and will eventually be impossible to obtain, that said are there any particular types and brands of modern flatscreen TV's that work well for retro gaming? I'm not asking just for myself, but rather to make the information easily available to fellow retro gamers! The input lag, and even other variables can make playing retro games challenging and make the game's visuals look mucky. So let the television recommendations commence!

As long as you have thrift stores and the internet you will still be able to find a CRT TV. If you still are worried that you wont be able to find one just do like I do now and stock up on them. I have 6 of them in storage that I have picked up from thrift stores for less then 10 dollars.

I recently bought a Philips 32PW9551 HD prepared tube TV, and I love it! The picture quality is awesome for all retro consoles, and it even supports 480p for Wii, Gamecube and PS2. The only downside of this TV is that I can't get my Atari 2600 working on it. Light guns don't work either.

You will likely always be able to buy CRTs.
Case in point — companies still manufacture and sell record players.

I have played on a Samsung LN40D550K1FXZA and it worked well but I stick to my Sony Trinitron CRT.

vinyl is still huge though. i kinda get your point, there will always be a market for retro gamers, people who want CRTs, like there is for music enthusiasts. i feel like the market for CRTs wont be as big. glad I still have two, I use them for 64/SNES

Yeah, exactly. There will always be a market for CRTs — even if it's a relatively small/niche market — so they'll still get made.
