Well, I have some sad news to report. My Atari 7800 Pro System died and went to that great arcade in the sky. It will be greatly missed because I used that thing to play both my 2600 and 7800 games.

Anyways, I was thinking about buying another one off of eBay, but I just wonder about how reliable they are with 20+ years old systems.

Then the solution came to me. There are these guys that rebuild Atari systems from top to bottom with brand new Atari brand parts! So I think I might get one for my upcoming birthday in November. So here's their link if you guys are intrested too:

I'm going get the Atari 7800 for obvious reasons, but if money was no object I would also get a Darth Vader 2600!

Thanks for the nice words about my Atari.

Check it out, they still make new video games for classic systems! Eventually, I would love to pick up the "new" Space Duel and Pac Man Collection for the 7800.

The prices are steep because they are limited release. (!)

However, I would love to get some more sick games there is an awesome new Warlords for the 2600 I want to get! Too me, that is still the best 4 player party game ever. I love playing that game with friends.

Warlords is one of my favorites, but I also love Maze Craze, Haunted House, Adventure, Solaris, Breakout, Super Breakout, Kaboom!, Jr. Pac Man, and Spider Fighter allot too!

BTW play the awesome Medieval Mayham (Warlords sequel) here. This has by far the best graphics and sound ever on a 2600 game. The mouse contolls are a bit akward, but I hope to get a real copy one of these days:

i love that game so much. i usually spend most of my time on my Flashback playing Yars Revenge, Quadrun and Caverns of Mars. but idk...they are all so good! but man, you opened my eyes to a whole new universe of atari gaming with the websites provided in this thread. i used to think i was power balling on the atari game with my flashback but now i see im a total light weight. i need me a Darth Vader 2600 with a couple of those "gooddealgames.com" in order to be a real atari kingpin...
