I like it but find it a little boring so have yet to finish it. I'm going to try again, though, from my old save point (I think I remember everything). Can someone tell me how long it takes to finish from start to finish? It's kind of a game I want to get out the way now.
Just letting people in this thread know that the NintendoLife Game Club is doing a group playthrough of the original Paper Mario. If you're up for replaying a classic, feel free to join us!
I never had a GameCube, but I went over to my best friend's house almost every day when I was 5/6 and it had been a few years after it came out, and we used to play it all the time. I remember when we first beat the Shadow Queen. Cries and runs off too play it
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is one of my all-time favorite video games! The writing is fantastic and filled with humor and unmatched wit. The characters are very memorable and have their own unique voice, despite the fact that there is no voice acting. Plus, you can't beat those Bowser stages and Peach's shower scenes.
Anyone remember seeing the commercials when this came out? With the paper airplane? Man, this stuff was ages ago. (not really ) I remember me and my brother renting this from movie gallery and trying to figure out what doing something simultaneously meant. But as of now, I haven't played it in YEARS which means I haven't been able to play and truly appreciate it.
I love all the Paper Mario games but TTYD is by far my favorite. I really liked Twilight town with the creepy music and those crows hanging out on the trees. My favorite moment was being on the moon with the beautiful stars scrolling by in the background. That's it I can't take it anymore. It's been too long I gotta go play it again. Such a fantastic game!

I think that this is one of the best games EVER. I love every part of this game, beginning to end, and after the end. The Bosses and ideas were amazing and I have played over 130 hours of this masterpiece. I hope that PM3DS can top it, but is that even possible? I mean this game has got it all. A terrific story, fantastic humor, puzzles, epic battles, unforgetable music... Speaking of music, does anyone know where I can download the soundtrakcs?
I am so glad I got this game, because it introduced me to the Mario RPG series (although I probably would've gotten into it eventually through the original on the VC). I only got it after being disappointed with Sunshine, and went to the store to seek out something more traditional, and I stumbled across it and have loved it ever since.

TTYD is amazing. It's one of the few games I've replayed a few times and still haven't gotten tired of it. That's rare these days, with all these new games on my plate, I rarely replay old ones. One of the best RPGs of the past decade.
I enjoy every minute of this game... Been playing sense the 3rd grade, and now WAY past there it still ain't old. I think I'm gonna ask for another copy for christmas.
