@Kid_A: Well, you need to at least try the demo before you judge! I'm 20, so I don't really have all THAT much on you. I never played those games when they released, either. Just played Wolfenstein 3D for the first time on PSN a couple months ago, actually. But I am familiar with the concept of 2D sprites in a 3D environment, and I think it works just fine! And this demo wasn't "poorly rendered," it was rendered perfectly for what it was intended to be! An impressive job, really. :)

I like the concept of 2D sprites in 3D. The demo looks neat, but it won't run on my computer (like pretty much every other game ever made).

Well that's good for them, I suppose. It's nice to see they have some sort of hobby.

I saw this video a couple weeks ago. Very cool, even if it was basically a hack of the original DOOM.

And VGP, I would SO play that once the bugs get worked out!

Looks great. Just imagine if they did this officially with the virtual boy. :O

@Adam: Dang, how old IS your computer? This one's a few years old, but it ran it just fine! :I

I don't know if it is a matter of being old. It is either a case of the computer being cheap, Vista being stupid for games, Windows in general being stupid, or me being stupid. Probably all of the above.

By the way, nice new avatar. Where'd you get the stuffed Ness? It is a nice representation of your screen name.

I just Googled "stuffed Ness," and found one of those homemade craft store sites. It looks cool, but I'll have to be content with the avatar pic, 'cause $45 plus shipping is too much for me. :(
Screen name representation is what I was going for, actually. Glad you noticed! :D
