Topic: The Killer Instinct Love Thread!

This is a topic to find all of the fans of Killer Instinct and/or its sequel Killer Instinct Gold. I am a true fan of the Killer Instinct games, I have played them to death since that day in 2004 that I got both I really think that these are really complex fightings games, easy to play, nye impossible to master! I hate to admit it, but if Rare made a Killer Instinct 3 on the 360, I would run out and buy one!

Well if it came out for the 360 and controlled right then I would get KI3. Also even though its almost impossible I would give an arm and a leg to see the original Killer Instinct on the VC!

Killer Instinct is awesome, and it has a cult following, but most people find it shallow and boring, I think. I love Killer Instinct but I never did get a chance to play KI Gold. Spinal was always my favorite, but when I was a little kid I would play as Cinder against my big brother and just press =>=>P over and over. Cinder was so freaking cheap if you used that move, but that's also pretty much the only way I can beat the game. EYEDOL! I hate Eyedol. He's not too tough, except for the fact that if he hits you twice, you're dead. I'm serious. He will Ultra Combo almost every time

I loved it myself. Loved that it had different responses when you beat it on different difficulty levels. I especially remember liking the comment when you beat it on easy.

I bought the arcade board about a year ago since I used to play it so much at the arcade. Still a great game and very unique.

Well I got it dirt cheap.

Never played it for the N64, but I did enjoy alot of time on the original SNES game back in the day. Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat had nothing on it for partys.

I loved KI back in the day. Heck, I still love it. It's just too bad they managed to futz KI2 up so badly. Then Nintendo reneged on their promises and never delivered the original KI for the N64. Instead, we got a water-downed version for the SNES. (Didn't stop me from playing it, but still!)

I used to play as Orchid just because of the insanely long hit combos. It was usually possible to keep a fast combo going for quite a while before your opponent managed a combo-breaker. I think I still have the combo chart around here somewhere...
