Sweet Buchanan's palm, it's a real thing. Apparently some guys just got together and made Great Gatsby into a NES style platformer. Words cannot describe how much fun, nostalgic, and fun it is. It gave me a few laughs as well.
Here's the site:

It's even got Eckleburg!

I just finished it. It does stay relatively accurate to the book in a way. :3

This game is much fun — I just wish there was a downloadable .nes version (as i'd love to play it using AHEM other means AHEM, rather than in-browser).

I seem to recall discovering the game a year or two ago after Phil mentioned it — hey Phil, did you do a LP video of it? I seem to remember that maybe you did, but it could have just been a strange fever dream.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong. Also, Lindsey Stirling. Because violin awesomeness.

I actually found this recently while looking for an activity to play with the rest of the class during a Great Gatsby Seminar. It was perfect because I was doing the symbolism of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg, so I had it set up to right before the boss fight, and had some people in my class give it a try while answering analysis questions.

In other news, I've started calling people old sport. I surmise that this use of 'old sport' will increase after I see the film tomorrow (going with my class).

Awesome. I had to read this in English. At least I have something to talk about in that class now

Yep, I did! Complete with mis-remembered plot points. Had to be about two years ago or more now...
