Topic: The first game you ever played

The year was 1990. I was five years old. We had just gotten Dad an NES for his birthday (he was not quite forty yet). It came with Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I basically adopted it . I played that thing for hours and hours. My grandmother loved watching me.

The first game I can remember playing was Aldo, which was a PC game that was surprisingly similar to the old Donkey Kong arcade games if my memory serves me correctly. That was at my cousins house, I used to go round there and play it for hours!
As for my first game, it was Dr. Mario for the gameboy!

Pokemon Red

Pinocchio on the Game Boy, when I was five ('96) or six ('97).

Alex Kidd in Miracle World - built into my Master System. Crazy days.

It was propably some game & watch game: Balloon Fight, Donkey Kong, Octopus or Super Mario Bros.

Probably Wizball, or some other Commodore 64 title. Which makes me sound old. This would've been when the rest of you were playing Sonic 2 on the Mega Drive (I'd've been 4 or 5 at the time - Sonic 2 was November '94 right? I know the month/day is very close to my birthday, can't remember offhand which side it's on). We had a Commodore for aaaages xD

I concur, there's been a thread about this a few times before.

For the second or third time also, Banjo Kazooie (still think it's better than Mario 64!).

I've got it narrowed down to either Super Mario bros. or Marble Madness.

Double Dragon on the NES. i remember i lost about a quarter of the way through the first stage

Anyway, I don't really know. Possibly SMB, or Space Invaders (arcade), or Zelda.

Probably either Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game for the Genesis or Donkey Kong Country 3.

It was either Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in the arcade or on the C64. I'm not sure I remember which I got first (I'm guessing it was the arcade first then I pestered my parents for the home game after). I was quite late getting into video games than most kids, had no interest in them until I was about 10.

ATV Offroad Fury 2 on PS2. My second game, which I got at the same time as ATVOF2, was Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex (explains my love of CB!).

Mario Kart 64. I was terrible at it.
