Anything related to the Nintendo E-Reader goes to this topic.

Not much to really say. I've bought all the games that were available for purchase when this was out, both SMA4: SMB3 add-on packs, the Walmart exclusive SMA4 cards, Air Hockey, Kirby Slide and Mario Party (missing the GamePro 2 Coin promo card).

I found a site many years back that had translated the Japanese series cards for SMA4 and the coding for them was cracked and allowed printing, so eventually when I go back to play the game, hopefully, I'll have a printer that can print them.

Update: I found it. The site is still around, but I don't recommend linking to it. Its not hard to get to if you search for it. I read from someone else's post that its not a good idea to link to it.

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

I found that site. I unzipped the RAR file that contained the SMA4 cards, which are in RAW files. If you search around the site, you will find an application that helps print out the cards. Its called nedcprint. If you click on one of those "..." buttons, you can insert a card file in there. I pressed print but nothing seems to come out.
I'm using a Lexmark printer BTW.

Ahh... The E-Reader.
That brings back memories.
I remember one time, my cousin and I went to the grocery store with my mom and we sat in the back of the car playing Donkey Kong Jr. (The only game I had.) Did anyone else ever start up an E-Reader game then take it out and share it with someone?

You know, they took it out of PAL Animal Crossing, the E-reader was never sold in the UK.

Sad thing is that the E-Reader is region-locked, so if you wanted to use it, you would have to import a E-Reader and a GBA from another country.

I think the e-Reader was a great idea that really had almost no practical use.

I've still got a small stack of Animal Crossing cards (wish I could get more!). Didn't see anything else that really justified the use of the e-Reader for me... but Animal Crossing alone made it worthwhile. Unlockable items, town tunes, patterns and designs, and I've even got the card to unlock the Mario Bros NES game. Loved that feature.

I don't think it was ever released around here, only in Japan and NA.

No? My American E-reader works fine in my European-bought GBA.

Yeah, certain pokemon cards are e-reader compatible, though they mostly just display Pokedex data when scanned. yawn. There's a few that give you a mini game if you scan certain cards.
