Anyways, this truly is the end of an era. Even reading through this issue it was still hard to believe Nintendo Power has ended. It was a great final issue. Bringing back Nestor was a perfect ending. I was super close to tearing up when I read that comic...that was perfect. I'll forever miss you Nintendo Power.
The great magazine may be gone but I'll still be Playing with Power!

I haven't been with Nintendo Power for a long time (sadly only three years) and that Nester comic was a perfect way to end it all (especially if you turned the page to the final page with the Game Over) I also liked that the Virtual Boy was in it.

I still need to find a copy. The comic was great. I love Nester's retro room but not enough complete copies of retro games though,

Well the price of this issue has skyrocketed!

My first issue was the first one. At one time I had both versions. I also have a couple of the Nintendo Fun Club News issues that preceded Nintendo Power.

I got a sealed issue for Christmas and I still havent opened it. I was hoping to find another copy somewhere so I could have one opened and one sealed but I just could find another one. Guess if I want one I am going to have to check out eBay.

I have gotten a free issue of Nintendo Power for a year, it was sent to me as an e-mail.
Who knew that this was going to be last year, its like Nintendo wanted me to have it, even if I haven't thouch a Nintendo Power mag since EarthBound came out.

The eBay prices are insane. I say just go ahead and open it! The way I look at it, why keep it sealed unless you plan to sell it off someday.... and why on earth would you do that?

Really the only thing that interested me was the Nester comic and I already have read that (see a few posts above). Also part of me does and part of me doesnt. I grew up with NP and I have fond memories of NP before Future took it over back when Nintendo themselves did it. I have never seen let alone read an issue done by Future so I am not sure if I am ready for that shock lol. I am sure that sooner or later curiosity will get the best of me and I will open this bad boy up.
