Darn i was just at the Nintendo World store today in new york. On the 2nd floor they had every issue on display. There also was a book in which you could post your favorite memories of the magazine. It was awesome. I might be able to get it where i live if any nearby store gets it in.

Cover looks good, but it can't touch the eye popping brilliance of issue #1. I'll definitly be picking this up...While Nintendo Power is still a fun read, it just isn't the same anymore....Aside from the final issue which is obviously diving deep into RetroNintenVille to the point of even bringing back Nester from the dead. Still, NES-SNES issues are unbeatable. Gotta love that classic striking Yellow/Red "Nintendo Power' Font.

Alright, I'm starting to get a little worried.

Weren't subscribers supposed to get their issues late November-first few days of December?

I still haven't gotten mine, and I know my subscription isn't expired. The only reason I care is because its the last issue. This is by far, the worst one to just magically never show up at your house. Should I call Nintendo Power about this? I already tried to report a missing issue, but I was prompted that they were no longer available.

Otherwise I'm picking up a newsstand version at the nearest store.

Is anyone else having trouble getting this issue? I went to THREE Wallgreens, Books-A-Million (a bookstore), and Target and couldn't find it anywhere. I was so sad. Did this get delayed or something?

Hmm..my subscription runs out in March (or should have) and my final issue isn't here yet either. I usually get them on Tuesdays well today was Tuesday and I have waiting for this issue for 3 weeks. I will report a missing issue and then see if my Walmart has one and if not well Ebay may be my best bet.

Getting this tomorrow since they mysteriously stopped sending me issues even though I know my sub went way past Dec.

If we're subscribers, why should we have to scramble around trying to get the final issue? I don't subscribe to Nintendo Power for the caliber, I do it to get the issues sent to me every month via mail without the hassle.

I got mine today. Truly the end of an era.

I've spent majority of my evening reading this issue and reminiscing about Nintendo Power's amazing impact on my childhood. It's too bad that Nintendo couldn't have found a way to incorporate Nintendo Power into Miiverse; that could've been something truly special. At the very least I hope they make the entire catalog available for download on the eShop. That would satisfy this fan that lost nearly his entire collection to water damage years ago.

Oh, and the comic that closes out the issue is a brilliant sendoff.

I went to the same book store I have gone for the last 4 and they didn't have this one...... I am sooo bummed!!! I'll try to get it online, but I doubt that I'll will be able to. Probably sold out..

Yeah about an hour after I got home from the mall, that's what I did. Thankfully they had some left. I also couldn't resist getting the Legend of Zelda Nintendo Power special along with it.

I've been looking for that Zelda special issue as well but it says "out of stock" on Future's site. Where did you order it from?

Technically I got it the day it hit newsstands, which is roughly when I always got it. It just took them longer because it was the final issue, I guess.

I wouldn't be too worried though. Give it a couple more days, I'd say.

Yeah. now I'm worried too, I went to NP.com and they said it got shipped on the FIRST OF DECEMBER. I don't know how anything from western IA could take so long to get to another part of the state... And when I reported it as missing they said it was sold out and they would extend my subscription to october... Uh, LIKE THAT DOES ANYTHING!

I think on the website they just have the first of the month for everything just by default.
Anyways, I called Nintendo Power and they told me there was a delay. We should be getting our issues by the end of this week hopefully.

I got my issue today and read it, and it's very sobering. It's very long and has lots of lengthy articles and lots of memories. I especially liked the comic at the end. The poster that came with it is now on my bedroom door.
