I've played Turtles in Time. Does anyone here know how good Hyperstone Heist is? I've never tried that one.

you can play them on the model 3 however id not suggest that because there have been several people who claimed their model 3 stopped working due to japan mega drive games. you can use a game genie on a model 1 and 2 but not a model 3, and if you use a game genie youll need some import codes for it.
yuu yuu hakusho makyou toitsusen codes:
9T9T-BCF8
EE9T-AAGA
BE9T-B98C
RE9T-A60E
BVBT-AA3A
almost forgot, you can play them on the retron3 easily by switching a button on the back of the system that says "J"
or do it the easy way and buy the repro that will play on any system stress free here: http://www.segaage.com/

I'd rather play the rom than give money to pirates.

@Electricmastro
hyperstone heist was the genesis version of turtles in time for the most part. its just as good as that version. they both have an arcade feel to them. id recommend it.
@Mickeymac well ive provided every way to play that game but on a rom since you asked how to play that game on a genesis. on the reproduction side: those guys that make the sega repros have a lot of real prototype games and rare gems as well. theyve been in the collecting game for a long time. they are actually legit. "We have access to prototype ROMs that NO other reproducers do. These unreleased games can only be reproduced by us until the ROM is made public"

It's basically the same thing just a different story (not that it's important), a run button (nice and helpful if you ask me), and some different levels. If you want more Turtles lV action it's nice, but I prefer Turtles in Time just so much more.

Except Turtles in Time looks and sounds a bit better among other things.

Anyways! It's time for a little Retro SNES VS Genesis match!

TMNT: Turtles in Time or TMNT: Hyper Stone Heist?
Super Castlevania IV or Castlevania Bloodlines?
Contra III: The Alien Wars or Contra Hardcorps?
The Magical Quest: Starring Mickey Mouse or Castle of Illusion: Starring Mickey Mouse?

TMNT IV

Super Castlevania IV

Never played either, but i'll go with Hard Corps

i vote all of them but the important thing here is to let the war continue, were not doing it right unless we declare a war on something!

If you are going to ask that you might as well just use the this or that thread.

@Electricmastro - in the respectful order:

  • Chrono Trigger
  • Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
  • Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
  • Super Castlevania IV (haven't played the SNES Dracula X game)
  • Terranigma

The Sega CD version. They added a few more levels that weren't in the SNES or Genesis versions.

To add to that Jurrasic Park on Genesis totally killed the SNES version.

@RancidVomit86 Thats right! I played JP to death hated the movie but loved the game. Overall licenced movie games were better on MD.

Rock n Roll Racing was better on Megadrive it even had a extra track and song 'Radar Love'.

Mutant League Hockey/Football, Madden, Fifa, Rugby, anything EA was more awesome on MD
