There have been many variants of Tetris over the years. Which one do you like the best. Mine personally is Tetris DS. That game I can play for hours at a time. Now if only my thumb did not hurt after playing it.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.

Tetris Attack. I remember I didn't like it at first because it's not like normal Tetris, but when I figured out how to line up combos and stuff, it was a blast. :)

I love the co-op mode on WiiWare's Tetris Party. It's a nice, relaxing change of pace from the intensity of the classic mode.
Tetris DS was very good, too, particularly the mode where you are dropping blocks in opposite directions in the same well.

Tetris DS. Best in the series in so many ways and with such a variety of game modes it supplies so much game replay its hard to let it down. Addictive as it can be theres always Multiplayer. Is there not? lol

Just for you.

Ah, if we included any game with the name Tetris, yes, that would be my favorite. But that is actually part of Nintendo's Puzzle League series, just with the Tetris name attached to it. It's not a "Tetris" game in any other sense; doesn't even have tetronimoes. I'm still sad we'll probably not see it on VC. The Yoshi's Island theme worked so well for it, and I hear the N64 Pokemon version is annoying... Guess I'll cave in and get it anyway unless they announce a generic Puzzle League for WiiWare (fingers crossed).

Yeah, that's why I said it wasn't like normal Tetris. It confused the hell out of me at first, lol. I'll bust out my SNES before bothering with the Pokemon version, though -- I can't stand how Pokemon was being plastered all over everything back when that came out. I missed Planet Puzzle League when it came out for the DS, so after Moving Memo, the next thing I'm looking forward to is them translating the DSiware Puzzle League game.

If Tetris Attack is DQ'd, then I'd have to choose Tetris DS. With all the different modes to play, i can't say i've ever really gotten bored with it. Every time I go back to it, it's still fun to play.

Tetris DS and Tetris Party are both very good games. Depending on whether like your Tetris on the go or not.

No love for Tetris 2? :p

Having only played a few versions, I think the Gameboy's actually my favorite. Not necessarily the best, but my fave. Plus, the 2p head-to-head via link cable was awesome for its time.

Tetris 2 was decent. It's been too long since I've played it. I didn't have a link cable then, either.

At first my favorite was the original Gameboy version, but then I liked the NES version the best. But now I think Tetris DS is the reigning king of Tetris.

I've never played Tetris DS, but I have Tetris Party. It's pretty ok, but the only extra mode that's any fun is the co-op (about time they caught up with Tengen Tetris... _).

My favorite is probably Tetris DX. Such a great version. :D

I loved the crap out of Tetris 2 on the NES...I regret not buying a cart of it.

I haven't opened my copy of Tetris DS yet, but from what I've heard it might be my new #1 Tetris game. :o
