Now if the choice was between Chrono Trigger and Terranigma, on the other hand, I would've picked the latter hands down, but Chrono Trigger's good too, imo

No contest here, Chrono Trigger gets my vote. It's one of the few rpg's (besides Pokémon) that I didn't get bored of and quit..

Ooh, seriously tough one. They're both among my favourite games of all time.

I life Chrono Trigger but would have to pick Final Fantasy VI.

Incredible story, great battle system, a cast of likeable characters that are well explored and well utilised in gameplay throughout the game and arguably Nobuo Uematsu's most accomplished score. Many would argue that it was Final Fantasy VII that revolutionised the series, but I would say it is Final Fantasy VI.

So my vote goes to FF6.
