What I'm getting from this is that the winner is Super Mario World 2.

DS.

Yoshi Story emphasized everything I didn't like about Yoshi. DS's only faults are the terrible soundtrack and that the game is just decent.

I concur, the soundtrack in Yoshi's Island DS was just plain forgettable compared to the the absolute memorable one in the original SNES game

To be honest, I don't think all the soundtrack was completely terrible, although it was certainly forgettable. And the terrible castle theme can't be excused:

They should have used this (the original castle theme as composed with Yoshi's Island DS instruments):

I guess I'll never understand the dislike for Yoshi's Island DS and its soundtrack.

I personally really liked both the game and its music. Yes, it's nothing when compared to the original SNES game, but I still think it has some really nice tunes in there. Just my opinion though. Anyways, I'll be updating the two games tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Well compare the top video listed and its music to the bottom one. Which do you think suits a castle better?

That's why people dislike the soundtrack of Yoshi's Island DS. The songs don't really fit the levels in some cases.

The DS castle theme isn't that bad.. Sure it's not as good as the original, but I think that it still fits the level well..

I enjoyed both, but Squeak Squad wasn't memorable at all to me - just another standard Kirby game. So my vote goes to Canvas Curse.

Kirby: Canvas Curse: 2
Kirby: Squeak Squad: 3

I make Pixel Art on occasion.

Canvas Curse. I spent a lot of time playing both games, but Canvas Curse is much more interesting. Squeak Squad was fun but not particularly memorable beyond the Squeak Squad themselves and the AMAZING story.
