That's in the same ball park imo. But yeah Fire Emblem series gets a +1 vote from me without a shadow of a doubt. Paper Mario is a more traditional RPG style experience, but it has great writing, characters, and memorable locations. Mario & Luigi on the other hand, has one of the best battle systems in any RPG to date. Combine that with the ridiculously funny dialogue and it really makes a unique experience. I guess Paper Mario would have the edge since it has 4 games versus M&L having 3.

Super Paper Mario is astoundingly creative, especially since it came out before the big 2d platformer indie boom, and Sticker Star is the freshest Mario title in years. Most of the time in Paper Mario games, they just try TOO hard to make everything the characters say be funny. Also is it just me or do the creators like doing "weird" stuff with characters in PM? Like the infamous Peach shower scene in TTYD, or her drinking an invisible potion then taking her clothes off... kinda sensual and gutsy for Nintendo. Dev	1,460. Posted: Mon 11th Feb 2013 13:01 GMT Both series are fantastic, but I'm going with Paper Mario. The paper artstyle is creative, especially in Sticker Star. The stories are the most epic in any Mario game, especially the Thousand-Year Door's. The original characters are interesting and fun, from Professor Kolorado to Rawk Hawk to Doopliss to Francis. Both series are very close when it comes to music, but I like Paper Mario's a little more. The first Paper Mario is my favorite Mario RPG too.
