I really enjoyed Super Star, in the form of it's remake Super Star Ultra. It is easily one of my favorite Kirby experiences.

Superstar. I only played Ultra but even ignoring the graphical changes and extras, it's still better. DL3's always felt too slow and just not as fun as a lot of the other Kirby platformers. Shame as I love the art and music of the game.

Definitely Super Star. I like Dreamland 3's visual style a lot more, but that's about all I think it has on SS.

I loved Super Star on the DS. Probably my favorite Kirby game actually.

Kirby Super Star. Although I played the DS remake first, it's still a wonderful game not only for its content, but also because it's good for Kirby newbies to get into like I was with Ultra. Super Star Ultra is actually one of my favorite Kirby games.
Kirby's Dream Land 3 is good as well with its art style, music, and boss battles, but that's it. I'm not a big fan of its steep difficulty. I also don't have to be concerned with beating all the challenges to fight the true final boss in Super Star. KDL3 also doesn't have the replay factor that Super Star has.

Ultra was my first experience of Super Star as well, I love it.

Dreamland 3 has gigantic demonic bleeding eyeball, but that's about it. Superstar has multiple moves with abilities so it's superior. :3

This is hardly a fair comparison.....dream land 3 is my personal least favorite kirby game probably. So yeah, Kirby Super Star by leaps and bounds. Super Star happens to be one of my favorite platformers of all time. Super Star +1

@Jeremy, although I do indeed like Super Star more, it's all a matter of opinion. Clearly a few people like Dreamland 3 better it turns out.

@Emaan In the end I agree it comes down to opinion as well as personal preferences. I was just saying if you look at both games in terms of 'Content' involved Super Star has much much more to offer whether people like or dislikes the 'Content'. Giving the game a 'unfair advantage in comparison' so to speak for those who like both games.

Dreamland 3 is my favorite Kirby game, followed by Kirby 64. (Then Dreamland 2) I don't like the graphics in Super Star (though this wasn't a factor in my decision). Ultra fixed a few things I disliked (graphically) but not all.

Dream Land 3 just wasn't that good, IMO. Then again I didn't care for KDL2 all that much either...

definitely Kirby Super Star for me. Dream Land 3 is ok, but it's kinda boring and feels extremely simple compared to Super Star
