All the upgrades to this game just continue to amaze me everytime I play this game. Just having the original game on a cart is awesome as I also have it for GBA, but the Lost Levels in their original form and not the All Star revamp that I continue to dislike to this day, and the challange modes. Then there is even more lol..... Im not telling you guys how cheap I got it either
The Lost Levels isn't really in the "orginal form". It's the same level layout but its been made slightly easier with the removal of the strong winds and a few other little bits and pieces, hence the rebranding as "Super Mario Bros for Super Players".
Despite this the inclusion of this "bonus game" remains one of the best unlockables ever found in a videogame, imho. The game itself is and was tremendous value for money and is up there with Donkey Kong 94 as a contender for best handheld title of its generation.
@Betagam.... I got you. Well thanks for the clarification. I actually just figured out how to wipe the memory clean off the game as I got it used of course and it was already all unlocked. I did check out the first level before wiping it, but I will be back playing it before long Im sure. It was still pretty dang hard though.
