Aargh! I accidentally used a warp whistle! Thankfully i was at the airship for World 4, so i just warped to World 5. I actually sat at the warp zone screen for several minutes deciding whether i should start from the beginning again, but it was only one level skipped, so meh.
Well, happy early eighteenth birthday, Digiki; and happy early twentieth birthday, Super Mario Bros. 3. I too am trying to go through the game without using the whistle. I'm stuck in this one part of World 6 in Super Mario All-Stars, and I can't seem to be able to beat it
Is that the level with the annoying cave (sort-of-maze) where you need a shell and flight to reach the exit?
