I sent them an e-mail about EarthBound...

Lol What does that have to do with Super Mario Allstars? As far as Earthbound goes I am at the point where I am just going to buy a SNES from somewhere and play my copy rather than wait for their slow butts to put it on VC.

And I SERIOUSLY doubt they'll ever release this on VC, considering all the games are already on the VC, for a combined price of 28 dollars (including mario world). Releasing a compilation of all those for only 8 dollars would be kinda dumb on Nintendo's part.

Ah. But what about if Super Mario All Stars was only available (at the usual 800 points) to those who already own the four NES originals? Almost everyone should own at least two of the NES Mario games with many people owning at least three. Those people would have to pay 500 - 1100 points more before being eligible to download Super Mario All Stars but its a small price to pay. If you have Super Mario World too then you get upgraded to the "plus Super Mario World" version at no additional cost.

Is that dumb? Would Nintendo lose money with that?

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I agree with you, they will get $21 or $29 plus World. What else do they want!!!! The ONLY reason why they have not re-released is because they haven't opened their eyes, and released Super Mario All Stars for the Virtual Console!!!

Yeah, I like that collection! Love how they had the box shots in the game selection screen! I have all 4 games on VC, but I wouldn't mind getting SM Allstars for the enhancements it made! Though for SMB2, SMB3, and SMW, I'd much rather they port the GBA versions.

I would be happy with a Super Mario All Stars for the DS. Don't get me wrong, on the VC would be awesome too. Maybe some day...

If they did what Sonic and Knuckles does, than yes, that would make sense. Releasing it as just another VC game would be idiotic.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

I'd much rather they didn't. At least, not with SMB2. That GBA port was stupid, and they added horrible voices to all the characters.
