It really is a nice site. I don't feel there's much reason to visit it regularly though. They somehow manage to consistently post amazing fan art, but that's it. Earthbound Central is more up my alley and is basically what Starmen used to be, if I remember correctly.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

The title of it made me think it was a Mario site... (I've never played EarthBound, and just in case you wonder why I thought that, Starman is the official name of the Invincibility Star in the Mario series).
It looks just like a normal nicely designed site to me. It sorta reminds me of Newgrounds for some reason.
I'm pretty okay.

Starmen's site is slick only because it needs to cover a limited amount of clustered content locked into just a few games, and it just wouldn't work here at all. Overall for the basics it's laid out well, some parts are kind of annoying, and the teeny box to the right with all the sub-links to areas is just too small to be that good. On a generic template setup, this place wins that battle.

Really? Starmen is well designed? First thing I thought when I saw it was "Holy cow that's a lot of links. Like, everywhere. At the top. Below the top. Under those. At the side. In each main segment. At the bottom of the page. I'M DROWNING IN HYPERLINKS." I mean, it's nice that they've got such a lot of content 'n all but damn. Information overload. They don't need to link to every single bit of the site all of the time, it reaaaaaally needs to categorize more. If anyone happens to know the site admin, tell them to learn how to make dropdown menus, for a start.

Seems fine to me. Links to the general categories at the top. Links to the latest updates below. Don't need to scroll to get to the most recent post, and the sidebar is very small, so it's not like it gets in the way.
